The General Iftaa' Department praised the major security achievement accomplished by all our security services in apprehending the perpetrators of the cowardly terrorist operation witnessed in Karak Governorate, in a qualitative security operation that reaffirms that Jordan possesses security services at the highest levels of readiness, vigilance, and capability, and that the state's hand is capable of reaching everyone who attempts to undermine the security and stability of the nation.
The department expressed its deep appreciation and pride in the courage, professionalism, and high efficiency shown by the security services in dealing with this terrorist crime, pursuing its perpetrators, locating them, and arresting them, in a stance that confirms that the security of Jordanians and the protection of their lives and property is a red line that cannot be crossed or tampered with.
It emphasized that this security achievement sends a clear and decisive message to anyone who contemplates targeting Jordan or terrorizing its people: no criminal will escape punishment, the hand of terrorism will not be superior to the hand of the state, and Jordan will remain resilient against all attempts at sabotage, sedition, and extremist ideology.
The General Iftaa' Department affirmed that the terrorist crime that targeted innocent people has nothing to do with Islam, and that killing a soul which God has forbidden to be killed, terrorizing the safe, and assaulting people and places of worship are crimes forbidden by Sharia and condemned humanely and morally.
The department saluted the heroes of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, Public Security, the General Intelligence Directorate, all other security services, and everyone who contributed to this operation and the continuous efforts to protect the nation, confirming that what they are doing is Jordan's impenetrable fence and fortress in the face of terrorism, extremism, and crime.
The department also affirmed that Jordan, with its wise Hashemite leadership, the awareness and cohesion of its people, and the strength of its security and military services, will remain stronger than terrorism and its people, and that the nation's security, stability, and national unity will remain above all considerations.
The General Iftaa' Department renewed its standing in one rank behind His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and the security and military services in protecting Jordan and safeguarding its security and stability, asking God Almighty to protect our dear homeland, have mercy on the nation's martyrs, heal the injured, and perpetuate the blessing of security and safety upon Jordan.
May God protect Jordan, protect its Hashemite leadership, preserve the heroes of our security and military services, and keep this nation resilient against all terrorism, sedition, and tampering.
