He said that the state will not allow any person involved to escape legal accountability.
Al-Faraya mourned the martyrs of the attack, offering his condolences to their families and relatives, His Majesty King Abdullah II, and the Jordanian people, saying: "We stand more reassured that the hand of justice has reached the perpetrators of this heinous terrorist crime, and that the blood of our martyrs will not go in vain."
He pointed out that His Majesty the King pledged, during his visit to the injured in the hospital, to deal firmly with the perpetrators of this act and hold all those involved in it accountable, adding that the success of the security operation confirms that His Majesty's directives are translated into actions on the ground, and that the Jordanian state does not tolerate the protection of its citizens' lives.
Al-Faraya extended his thanks and appreciation to the security services, institutions, and personnel who contributed to the success of the operation, praising their efforts that continued from the first moment the crime occurred, and the professionalism, efficiency, and high coordination they demonstrated.
Al-Faraya described the crime as the product of "an extremist Takfiri ideology that is alien to the values and morals of Jordanians," stressing the need to continue confronting it from a security, intellectual, and societal perspective.
He added that confronting terrorism does not end with the arrest of the perpetrators of crimes, but rather requires addressing the roots of extremism, hate speech, and incitement.
Al-Faraya renewed his prayers for mercy for the martyrs and a speedy recovery for the injured, stressing that Jordan, with its Hashemite leadership, security services, national institutions, and the cohesion of its people, will remain resistant to terrorism and extremism, and that the security and safety of Jordanians will remain above all considerations.
