On the path to rebuilding the concept of the homeland and the nation, many steps must be accomplished. The first is for us all to view the danger of Takfir with a new perspective, characterized by a comprehensiveness that liberates us from the captivity of sect, denomination, and geography—the captivity that has fragmented us and made it easy for hostile forces, led by Takfiri organizations proven to be linked to colonial powers, to operate. These organizations act on behalf of colonial powers, carrying out the task of continuing to weaken and slaughter us, without us realizing that the Takfiri, while killing the Christian and displacing them from their land, will not hesitate to kill the Muslim and displace and deport them from their land as well, and they have done so and continue to do so. This Takfiri, who declares the Shiite an infidel to kill them, will not hesitate to declare the Sunni an infidel to kill them as well, and they have done so and continue to do so. This Takfiri, who bombed in Iraq, killing the Shiite and Sunni Muslim, and did the same with the Christian, Yazidi, and Sabean, will not hesitate to bomb the Syrian, whether Shiite or Sunni Muslim, and will not hesitate to kill the Alawite or the Druze, just as they will not hesitate to kill the Christian, whether they are Arabs, Kurds, or Turkmens, and they have done so and continue to do so. They will also not hesitate to do this in Libya, Yemen, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, and they have done so and continue to do so. This means they are targeting the nation with all its components, religions, denominations, and sects. Therefore, the nation, with all its components, must also forget its differences and unite in the face of this existential danger that aims to uproot it, viewing it as an infidel society whose men may be killed and burned, and whose women may be enslaved and sold in slave markets, in the ugliest civilizational practice that requires confronting it with a civilizational awakening in which we transcend our differences. This is an essential step on the path to achieving the goal of rebuilding the concept of the homeland on the basis of citizenship rooted in pluralism, diversity, mutual acquaintance, and closeness, and bringing people together according to the laws of life set for us by the Creator of this life, who said: "And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community," and who said: "Indeed, We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another."
Takfir as an existential threat
