"Tafila Culture" organizes a workshop for making wooden toys

As part of its annual plan for 2026, the Tafila Governorate Culture Directorate organized a specialized workshop titled "Making Toys from Wood" at Aima Primary School for Boys, with wide participation from the school's students.

During the workshop, participating students learned about the scientific and practical principles and basics of handling wood materials and reshaping them, in addition to the mechanisms for designing and executing educational and recreational toys that combine aesthetic value with developmental benefits, amidst field interaction that revealed innovative energies and promising manual skills among the students.

The Culture Directorate emphasized that holding these programs in schools and areas affiliated with the governorate comes within the framework of its keenness to enhance partnership with educational institutions and expand the umbrella of cultural and creative activities to reach all youth segments, thereby establishing the role of culture as a fundamental bridge for development and societal innovation.

The initiative seeks to instill the values of production, self-employment, and collective creativity among the youth, and to provide a stimulating environment that embraces young talents and develops their skills, contributing to supporting the cultural movement and enhancing the development scene in Tafila Governorate.
