Strengthening the "Al-Husn - Jordan University of Science and Technology" route with a modern bus and organizing frequencies

The Director of the Governorates Affairs Directorate at the Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC), Engineer Rola Al-Omari, conducted a field inspection tour today to review the reality of the service provided to students on the Al-Husn - Jordan University of Science and Technology route, and to follow up on the field impact of recent regulatory measures.

During her tour today, Engineer Al-Omari stated that the Commission has strengthened the route with a modern medium-sized bus to meet transportation needs, noting that this came after rectifying the status of operating companies and applying Article (13) of the Passenger Transport Law of 2017. She added that the operators established a "merger company" - which represents the ideal model that the Commission seeks to promote - and an official operational contract was signed with the Commission to improve the level of service, ensure the regularity of frequencies, and organize vehicle movement.

During the tour, Al-Omari met with a number of university students from various academic levels, who expressed their great relief and high level of satisfaction with the tangible improvement in the level of service, appreciating the good treatment and follow-up by the route owners and drivers, and their commitment to serving students according to specific schedules that extend until late hours.
