Strengthening Health Centers in Mafraq with Medical Devices

Dr. Faisal Makahleh, Director of the Mafraq Governorate Health Directorate, said that the Directorate has equipped four health centers with modern medical devices, aiming to enhance the diagnostic services provided to citizens and visitors.

Makahlleh explained that the devices included panoramic machines in health centers: Rihab, Bal'ama, Al-Safawi, and Mafraq Comprehensive, which contributes to providing additional diagnostic services to visitors and reduces their need to visit other health facilities to obtain these services.

He confirmed that the health centers in Mafraq Governorate are witnessing a qualitative leap in the level of services, pointing out that three new health centers have obtained accreditation, namely Um Al-Jamal, Um Al-Na'am, and Al-Zubaidiyah, raising the number of accredited health centers in the governorate to 29 centers.

Makahlleh pointed out that the centers' obtaining accreditation reflects their commitment to quality standards, patient safety, work organization, and staff efficiency, noting that the Directorate continues its efforts to develop health centers, raise their readiness, and provide them with the necessary medical devices and supplies.

He added that these measures come within the framework of enhancing primary health care services and facilitating citizens' access to medical services in their areas, in line with the needs of visitors and raising the level of efficiency of the health services provided to them.
