"Social Security" Launches Initiative "Social Security Among Our People in the Diaspora"

The Public Institution for Social Security announced the launch of the initiative "Social Security Among Our People in the Diaspora" in coordination with the Nashami Forum for the Jordanian Diaspora around the world, with the aim of enhancing communication with Jordanian expatriates who are optionally enrolled in social security, and those wishing to enroll optionally under the umbrella of social security, and providing a direct window for communication with them and listening to their inquiries, observations, and suggestions.

The institution clarified in a press statement that the initiative includes a series of periodic live meetings via video conferencing technology with members of the Jordanian community in various countries around the world, with the aim of answering their inquiries directly by specialized employees in the institution, in addition to listening to their observations and suggestions and dealing with them.

The institution emphasized that the launch of this initiative comes out of its interest in the Jordanian community abroad and its keenness to convey its awareness and insurance message to them, to introduce them to their rights and obligations in social security, electronic services, and the mechanisms for paying contributions provided by the institution, which contributes to enabling them to continue their social security contributions and maintain them without interruption, and without the need to visit the institution within the Kingdom.

The institution explained that these meetings will be held periodically, and each meeting will be dedicated to the Jordanian community in a country or group of countries according to a program that takes into account the time differences and circumstances of Jordanians residing abroad, noting that the initiative will gradually expand to include various places of residence of the Jordanian community around the world.

It added that the second phase of the implementation of the initiative will include coordination and networking with Jordanian embassies and consulates in various countries around the world, which will contribute to reaching Jordanian communities that are not covered by the communication in the first phase, and expanding the scope of participation and benefiting from these meetings.

The institution appreciated the cooperation with the Nashami Forum for the Jordanian Diaspora around the world, which represents the Jordanian community in (55) countries, calling on the members of Jordanian communities in various countries around the world to follow its official platforms to learn about the dates of meetings dedicated to each country or group of countries, their topics, and the mechanisms for participation in them.
