The total trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange reached 15.8 million dinars today, Wednesday, with 5.1 million shares traded, executed through 4,982 contracts.
The general index of stock prices fell at today's close to 4,114 points, a decrease of 0.93 percent, as the industrial sector index fell by 2.04 percent, the financial sector by 0.73 percent, and the services sector by 0.43 percent.
Comparing the closing prices of the 104 companies traded today with their previous closings, 30 companies showed an increase in their share prices, while 39 companies showed a decrease in their share prices.
