Amman Stock Exchange closes trading on an increase

The total trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange reached, on Tuesday, 11.5 million dinars, and the number of traded shares was 4.8 million shares, executed through 4,896 contracts.
The general price index of shares for today's close rose to 4,153 points, an increase of 0.08 percent, as the index in the industrial sector rose by 0.39 percent, and in the financial sector by 0.08 percent, while it decreased in the services sector by 0.13 percent.
Comparing the closing prices of the 100 traded companies for today with their previous closures, 29 companies showed an increase in their share prices, and 42 companies showed a decrease in their share prices.
