Senate President praises the professionalism of security services and the Armed Forces

Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez praised the professionalism of the security services and the Armed Forces, and the significant role and tireless, continuous efforts they undertake to confront the forces of terrorism and extremism, and the various terrorist plots that target the nation's security and stability, and tamper with the national unity that brings together all the nation's people, of all their religions, ethnicities, and social components.
Al-Fayez expressed the Senate's pride in the efforts of our security services, which were able, with maximum speed, to apprehend the cowardly killers and terrorists who targeted safe citizens at Hamoud Church in Karak Governorate.
Al-Fayez congratulated His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, and the one Jordanian family on this national achievement realized today, represented by our various security services apprehending the perpetrators of the terrorist operation, adding this national achievement to the great accomplishments achieved by our various security services and our Armed Forces in defending the homeland, keeping watch over its security, and protecting its citizens and guests.
He added, "As we salute these great and distinguished efforts of our security services, the apprehension of the cowardly perpetrators confirms through this great work that our security services and our Armed Forces are on the lookout for all dark and terrorist forces, and for every hand of treachery that attempts to undermine Jordan, tamper with its unity and national cohesion, the cohesion of its social fabric, and touch the sanctity of Jordan's pure soil."
The Senate President affirmed that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, will remain resilient against the forces of evil, and Jordan will remain, with the determination and resolve of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and the arms of our security services and Armed Forces, supported by the awareness of our Jordanian people who are jealous for their homeland and Hashemite leadership, a free and sovereign homeland, an impregnable fortress, and a rock upon which all conspiracies and malicious plots hatched against the homeland under the cover of darkness by the forces of evil and darkness will shatter.
Al-Fayez said that such despicable terrorist acts will not break the free will of Jordanians, and will only increase their determination, steadfastness, and faith in their homeland and their Hashemite leadership, and they will always be behind His Majesty the King and our security services and Armed Forces in confronting the various forces of evil, aggression, and terrorism in their burrows and dens.
He added that we must strengthen our internal front, our social cohesion, and close our ranks to deny the dark forces the opportunity to tamper with our security and stability, and everyone must bear the national responsibility in confronting anyone who attempts to harm Jordan and transgress its constants and supreme interests, for silence regarding such people is no longer acceptable.
Al-Fayez affirmed the Senate's support for our Armed Forces and our security services, for they are the fortress of the homeland and its impregnable shield, and the watchful eye over its security and stability, and they have all the necessary support and a salute of pride and appreciation.
He prayed to the Almighty God to cover all the nation's martyrs, and the martyrs who perished as a result of the terrorist operation that took place at Hamoud Church in Karak, with His vast mercy and pleasure, and to grant their families patience and solace.
