He said, "In Jordan, we, Muslims and Christians, have always been brothers; we have the same rights and duties. We have never known sectarian language. We have all united in our love for the homeland and loyalty to our Hashemite leadership, and we have sacrificed our precious blood to preserve the dignity of our nation and maintain its independence and development. Therefore, we must all confront the advocates of sedition, hate speech, and those with suspicious agendas, for our coexistence and social fabric are a red line that we must preserve."
Al-Fayez called on citizens to be cautious of attempts by forces of terrorism, extremism, and infiltrators to strike at national unity, and urged them to deny the opportunity to those lurking with evil intentions against the homeland, in light of the blessing of security and stability it enjoys.
He said, "We in Jordan are proud that God has blessed us with a wise Hashemite leadership that has dedicated its efforts to spreading the culture of coexistence, love, and harmony, and working to promote noble human values and reject the culture of hatred. It has made Jordan a symbol of human brotherhood that magnifies the commonalities between people, transcends differences in races, ethnicities, and religions, and from which all efforts that contribute to the stability, security, and development of humanity emanate. It calls for respecting religions and rejecting violence, extremism, and radicalism. We in Jordan represent the model formula for brotherhood between Muslims and Christians, as all our social and religious components live in a spirit of cooperation, tolerance, national belonging, and loyalty to the Hashemite leadership."
He said that while we extend our sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased, their relatives, their loved ones, the people of Karak Governorate, both Muslims and Christians, and the people of the nation in general, praying that God grants them patience and solace, we also pray to God Almighty to grant a speedy recovery to the injured and wounded.
