The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the Cybercrime Unit is monitoring everything published on social media platforms, including posts or comments that violate the law, offend others inside or outside the Kingdom, or incite hatred.
The media spokesperson confirmed that the Cybercrime Unit works around the clock to monitor any legal violations, and there will be no leniency in enforcing the law. The strictest legal measures will be taken against anyone who publishes or reshapes such posts.
He noted that many fake accounts managed from outside the Kingdom have been detected, attempting to spread insults against Jordan and broadcast hate speech to lure others into expanding the circles of abuse.
