The Northern Military Zone on Saturday foiled an infiltration attempt by an individual across one of its border fronts, after Border Guard forces spotted him as he attempted to illegally cross the border.
Border Guard forces dealt with the infiltrator in accordance with the applicable rules of engagement, managed to arrest him, and transferred him to the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him.
The Jordanian Armed Forces reaffirm that Border Guard forces continue to carry out their duties with high efficiency and capability to protect the Kingdom's borders, safeguard its sovereignty, and resolutely counter various forms of infiltration and illegal activities, thereby enhancing the Kingdom's security and stability, and preserving the safety of the nation and its citizens.
