Minister of Education Issues Decision to Retain Al-Khatib as Director of Unified Admission and Media Advisor

The Minister of Education and Human Resources Development, Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, issued an administrative decision stipulating the continuation of Muhannad Al-Khatib in his duties as Director of the Unified Admission Coordination Unit and Media Advisor to the Minister, effective from the thirteenth of September current.
The administrative decision confirmed Al-Khatib's retention of his position in the same two roles he previously held, ensuring the continuity of work in both the media and unified admission coordination files without interruption.
The letter addressed to the Acting Secretary-General for Planning and Institutional Support referred to the decision of the committee formed pursuant to paragraph (b) of Article (23) of the Education and Human Resources Development Law No. (13) of 2026, issued under number 1770/5/1/14 dated August 17, 2026, which includes the transfer of employees from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development, while retaining their job ranks and rights, and considering their previous services in both ministries as a continuation of their services in the new ministry.
The decision clarified that Al-Khatib's continuation in his duties comes within the framework of the requirements of the work interest and for the purposes of activating the ministry's organizational structure, reflecting the ministry's keenness on the stability of leadership cadres in sensitive positions that influence the workflow of the institution.
