Lavrov says he held "satisfactory" talks with his American counterpart

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday that he held "satisfactory" talks with his American counterpart Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the G20 foreign ministers' meeting in the United States.
Lavrov told reporters after meeting Rubio, "Yes, we had a satisfactory, albeit brief, conversation because he has, for understandable reasons, many duties as the host."
The Russian official's attendance at the summit in Atlanta, Georgia, drew European reservations, but highlighted improving US-Russian relations.
