The forum, which started today, Sunday, October 4, and will continue until the 8th of the same month, includes 16 emerging Jordanian female and male artists who were selected through a general invitation at the national level.
The forum provides participating artists with a space for creativity and artistic production, by developing works that are inspired by the environment and surroundings, and reshaping daily materials and elements in contemporary artistic ways and methods, which opens the door to experimentation and exploration of new possibilities in artistic expression.
The importance of the forum stems from its provision of an interactive creative environment that allows artists to develop their artistic projects within a space that combines experimentation, dialogue, and exchange of experiences, in addition to enhancing the presence of environmental issues in contemporary artistic practice.
The forum concludes with a group exhibition that includes the outputs of the participating artists, which will be opened to the public at 5 PM on Tuesday, October 13, in Building '1' of the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, and will continue until October 26, 2026.
