Labor: 500 Dinars to regularize the status of workers without permits for previous years

The Ministry of Labor addressed a message on Wednesday to non-Jordanian workers of various nationalities who entered the Kingdom for purposes other than work (such as tourism, medical treatment, or education) and are currently present in the Jordanian labor market without having obtained a work permit throughout their stay in Jordan, to benefit from the "legalization and regularization of status" decision issued by the Council of Ministers.

The Ministry's media spokesperson, Mohammad Al-Zyoud, explained that this category of workers, including domestic workers who have never obtained work permits, can benefit from the legalization and regularization period, which continues until 1/12/2026, by issuing work permits and paying their fees, while paying only 500 dinars for all previous years they spent in the Kingdom.

Al-Zyoud added that employers or heads of households can visit the Ministry of Labor to complete the procedures for issuing work permits for their employees, according to the specified professions.
