"Karak Council" postpones the governorate entrance design competition event in mourning for the souls of the Hamoud Church martyrs

The Karak Governorate Council announced the postponement of the Karak Governorate entrance design competition event, which was scheduled to be held tomorrow, Sunday, until further notice, in mourning for the souls of the martyrs of Hamoud Church, north of Karak.

The Council stated in a release that the postponement of the event stems from its national, moral, and humanitarian duty, in view of the painful circumstances and recent events that have struck the governorate, and in solidarity with the families and relatives of the nation's martyrs and the loyal people of Karak from our kin in the village of Hamoud and the governorate, who lost their children as a result of the cowardly terrorist operation that took place today, and the pain and sorrow it left in everyone's hearts.

The Council affirmed that the Karak Governorate was and will remain resilient against terrorism, that terrorists will not undermine our national unity and cohesion, and that Karak will always remain the land of martyrs, heroism, and dignity.
