The implementation of the program is part of the activities of the 'My Place' project, which is being implemented by the Jordan River Foundation in partnership with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), with the aim of providing a supportive and safe environment for children and families, and enhancing the role of the community in supporting the growth and well-being of children.
Ahmed Ghonimat, Director of the Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Center for Community Empowerment in Aqaba, said that the 'Happy Home' program represents one of the important community programs that target the family and women, as it provides skills that help mothers to positively interact with their children, manage time, and achieve a balance between family and work requirements.
Ghonimat added that the program contributes to raising awareness of positive family practices and building more cohesive family relationships, which reflects on children, families, and society. He pointed out that the Jordan River Foundation, through its community and development programs, is keen to support families, empower women, and enhance their capabilities.
Ghonimat explained that 'Happy Home' is part of the Foundation's programs aimed at enhancing social welfare and supporting the growth of children, especially in early childhood stages, in addition to enhancing the role of the family as a key partner in providing a safe and stable environment for children.
