Al-Sarih clans organize a solidarity stand with the nation and affirm their support for the leadership and security services

Members of the Al-Sarih clans held a massive solidarity stand in front of the Greek Orthodox Church on the main street in the town of Al-Sarih (Bani Obaid District - Irbid Governorate), to denounce and condemn in the strongest terms the terrorist act and brutal assault that targeted the martyrs of the Greek Orthodox Church in the Hamoud area of Karak.

Participants in the stand affirmed that the announcement of the arrest of these criminals brought joy to the hearts of all Jordanians, noting that His Majesty King Abdullah II assured Jordanians that they would be held accountable and that Jordan's solid and strong truth would be shown to anyone who attempts to undermine its security, so that this nation remains resilient against every hater and criminal.

Speakers at the stand emphasized what His Majesty the King said, that "the blood of a Jordanian is precious," confirming that this statement embodies His Majesty's constant concern for his people and that the blood of Jordanians is dear and valuable. They also valued His Majesty the King's presence in Karak as the first to arrive to check on the injured and closely follow the events that took place.

The participating deputies, namely MP Shaher Shatnawi, MP Iyad Al-Jabarin, MP Bassem Al-Rawabdeh, and MP Abdul Nasser Khasawneh, affirmed their absolute support for the Hashemite leadership and the security services in confronting all forms of terrorism and extremism, stressing that Jordan's security and stability are a red line that cannot be compromised.

In a speech by the pastor of the Prophet Elijah Church in Khirbet Al-Wahadneh, Father Marcus Marji, he expressed his deep thanks and high appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II and the security services for their tireless efforts, confirming that we in Jordan are one body and one heart, and that the people of Karak, Muslims and Christians, are one family.

Father Marji pointed out that this cowardly act will only increase our strength, stressing that our national unity remains more important than anything else and is resilient against every hateful enemy.

For his part, MP Abdul Nasser Khasawneh affirmed that these criminal acts will never distract our compass; our compass is one, which is Jordan and our wise Hashemite leadership, and no matter how hard the haters try, they will not succeed in undermining the determination of Jordanians and their unity and true citizenship.

Dignitaries of the region and former deputies, including Mr. Musa Al-Saadi (Abu Badr), former MP Mohammad Fand Al-Shiyab, former MP Mohammad Al-Akkour, and Dr. Faisal Nader Abu Al-Shaer, also emphasized during the stand, which was moderated by Mr. Ayman Jreis, the depth of national cohesion among the Jordanian people of all walks of life, and that these terrorist acts will only make Jordanians more solid and cohesive in facing challenges.

The stand concluded with prayers for the nation's martyrs, beseeching God Almighty to have mercy on them and accept them, and to protect Jordan, its leadership, people, and security services from all harm.
