"Jordan Industry" launches an electronic platform to monitor industrial sector challenges

The Jordan Chamber of Industry has launched a specialized electronic platform to monitor the challenges of the industrial sector, aiming to provide a direct and sustainable channel that enables industrial establishments to share the challenges they face. This reflects the actual reality of the industrial business environment in the Kingdom and contributes to developing practical solutions for priority issues.

According to a statement by the Chamber on Saturday, the platform comes from the role played by "Jordan Industry" in representing the industrial sector and defending its interests, and out of its keenness to enhance direct communication with industrial establishments and to be continuously informed of the most prominent obstacles and challenges that affect their operations, their ability to grow and expand, and their competitiveness.

The platform allows industrialists to select the challenges facing their establishments from a wide range of areas, including challenges related to legislation, regulations, instructions, government procedures, logistics, shipping, energy, finance, labor, exports, supply chains, and other issues relevant to the industrial sector.

The platform also allows the user to select more than one challenge at the same time, in addition to the possibility of identifying the challenge from the available options or writing it directly and explaining its details and implications for the establishment, which helps the Chamber form an accurate and comprehensive picture of the nature of the challenges facing industrialists in various sectors and regions.

The Chamber confirmed that the information and data entered through the platform will contribute to updating the industrial sector challenges database in real-time, identifying common and most impactful issues, and prioritizing them in preparation for follow-up with government and official agencies and relevant partners, and working to find appropriate solutions for them.

It indicated that its specialized team will work to communicate with the industrial establishments that register their challenges through the platform, with the aim of obtaining the necessary information, following up on the details of the issues raised, and linking them to the relevant authorities, which enhances response speed and raises the efficiency of addressing challenges.

It pointed out that the participation of industrialists in this platform represents a fundamental step in building a realistic and updated picture of the industrial business environment in Jordan. It also contributes to supporting the Chamber's efforts in adopting priority issues, defending the interests of the industrial sector, and improving the legislative, procedural, and investment environment, which reflects on the growth of national industry and enhances its competitiveness.

The Chamber called on industrial establishments to participate actively in the platform and register the challenges they face, stressing that conveying observations and suggestions in a direct and organized manner will help in developing more accurate and effective solutions and will support national efforts aimed at developing the industrial sector and serving the national economy.
