The quantities of vegetables arriving at the Central Wholesale Market of the Greater Amman Municipality reached 2736 tons today, Saturday, while the quantity of fruits reached 1399 tons and leafy greens 237 tons.
According to the Central Market bulletin and the price list of items that arrived today, based on the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the price of Navel oranges ranged between 60-85 piasters, Ajami black eggplant 10-25 piasters, dry onions 20-40 piasters, potatoes 30-60 piasters, tomatoes 10-17 piasters, carrots 15-30 piasters, lettuce 15-25 piasters, spinach 50-60 piasters, cucumbers 20-45 piasters, corn 20-50 piasters, cauliflower 15-50 piasters, olives 70-150 piasters, zucchini 45-75 piasters, lemons 40-85 piasters, cabbage 25-30 piasters, and local bananas 50-65 piasters.
