Jordan Education for Employment Foundation and Marouf Group Enhance Their Partnership to Support Youth Employment

The Jordan Education for Employment Foundation (EFE-Jordan) and Marouf Group held a meeting to discuss the ongoing partnership between the two sides since April 2023, and to review the key results and achievements accomplished in training and qualifying Jordanian youth and directly connecting them with job opportunities. As part of this partnership, both sides continue to work on qualifying Jordanian youth and equipping them with the necessary skills to join the labor market.

Since the beginning of the cooperation, the Jordan Education for Employment Foundation and Marouf Group have worked collaboratively to design and implement training programs that respond to labor market needs and the requirements of Marouf Group, ensuring that youth are provided with the necessary skills and knowledge to join the labor market efficiently and with high readiness.

The partnership has so far resulted in the launch of eleven training courses, in which 244 trainees participated, with 238 of them successfully securing job opportunities at Marouf Group branches, reflecting the effectiveness of the partnership model based on directly linking training with employers' needs.

These results emphasize the importance of cooperation between the Jordan Education for Employment Foundation and the private sector in providing clear and sustainable pathways for Jordanian youth by developing their skills according to the actual needs of the labor market, alongside providing real employment opportunities for graduates upon completing the training programs.

For its part, the Jordan Education for Employment Foundation (EFE-Jordan) affirmed that the partnership with Marouf Group represents a practical model for cooperation with the private sector, as it is not limited to training only, but extends to providing real job opportunities for youth, contributing to enhancing their economic readiness and supporting their transition from training to work.

The Foundation also praised the results achieved by the partnership since its launch, confirming its aspiration to continue cooperation with Marouf Group and expand its scope during the upcoming phase, allowing access to a larger number of youth and supporting the Group's needs for competencies.

Both sides reaffirm their commitment to continuing joint work during the upcoming phase and building upon the achievements made, thereby enhancing the opportunities for Jordanian youth to obtain sustainable jobs while supporting the private sector's needs for qualified local competencies.
