In parallel, Jordan is offering investment opportunities worth approximately $15 billion in 15 sectors to Europeans.
There is European interest in investing in Jordan, and the important thing is the presence of large and medium-sized companies. Jordan has signed a partnership agreement worth 3 billion euros, equivalent to approximately $3.1 billion, for the years (2025-2027), one of its main objectives was to prepare for the Jordanian-European Investment Conference, to present an investment portfolio close to $15 billion distributed over 15 sectors.
The opportunities are concentrated in mining and energy, and there are approximately $3.5 billion worth of transport and railway opportunities, $1.61 billion for logistics projects, $1.08 billion in investment opportunities in the tourism sector, $442 million worth of investment opportunities in the water sector, and $265 million for 9 projects in industry and the circular economy.
This time, Jordan is offering the opportunities, but the government has not said they are guaranteed, and it has not made promises, but it seems to have prepared well for this occasion.
This is happening while Jordan has seen the total volume of investments in development zones increase by 18.79 percent, to about 6.9 billion dinars, and the number of workers in development zones increase from 117,000 to nearly 123,000 in the first half of the year. The registration of 46 new projects in development zones with expected investments of 402 million dinars, compared to 27 projects worth about 60 million dinars during the first half of 2025, and 65 investors obtaining Jordanian citizenship with investments amounting to 72.3 million dinars, compared to 29 investors during the same period last year, and other things.
Jordan is promising for investment, as the legislative and legal environment is good, and ministries and public and private institutions must work together as one, as investment drives growth, and growth improves income and creates new job opportunities.
