HRH Princess Dina Mired among the list of the 100 most influential women in cancer control

The global OncoDaily platform has once again selected HRH Princess Dina Mired on its list of the 100 most influential women in cancer control for 2026, for the fourth consecutive year since the list was first launched in 2023.

This annual list, titled "100 Most Influential Women in Oncology: Influential Leaders on Social Media and Beyond," highlights women who have made prominent contributions to cancer patient care, scientific research, advocacy, and health policy-making at the global level.

HRH Princess Dina is considered one of the most prominent international figures advocating for equity in access to cancer prevention and treatment services. Her Highness has served as the President of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), becoming the first Arab figure to assume the presidency of this union. She also previously served as the Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, contributing to its development into a leading institution in mobilizing support and funding for cancer treatment, and enhancing awareness and advocacy efforts.

Her Highness continues her international efforts as the Honorary President of the Cancer Research Fund of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), in addition to presenting the dialogue podcast "Global Health Dialogues with Princess Dina," through which she hosts an elite group of leaders and experts in the fields of cancer and global health.

Her selection for this list for four consecutive years reflects international recognition of her ongoing role in enhancing cancer control efforts and defending the right of all patients to obtain fair and high-quality healthcare, regardless of their place of residence or economic circumstances.
