A source at the office of French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said on Monday that French authorities imposed a curfew in the city of Lille, northern France, from 18:00 GMT on Monday until 04:00 GMT on Tuesday, following riots over the weekend.

The source added that the curfew, which lasts two days, also includes the cities of Douai, Wattignies, and Douai in northern France.
