France has expressed its readiness to contribute to the 'security' of Saudi energy facilities that are being attacked by Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthis, within the framework of a 'purely defensive approach', according to a diplomatic source.
The source said that 'France is ready to contribute to securing Saudi energy infrastructure in Yanbu and along the East-West pipeline, within the framework of a purely defensive approach', stressing that 'this in no way implies participation in the conflict against the Houthis'.
