The Board of Trustees of the University of Jordan during its meeting held today, Monday, 14/9/2026, under the chairmanship of His Excellency Dr. Abdul Raouf Al-Rawabdeh, based on the recommendation of His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Nidhir Obeidat, decided to make the academic formations for the academic year 2026/2027 as follows:
First:
Appointment of Professor Dr. Mamun Al-Dabbai as Vice President for Humanities Affairs.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Nahed Ammash as Vice President for Partnerships and International Projects.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Saudi as Dean of the Faculty of Arts.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Sarrahan as Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Muhammad Abu Lila as Dean of the Faculty of Sharia.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Talafha as Dean of the Faculty of Sciences.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Abla Al-Busoul as Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Sakina Riyalat as Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Hala Bawadi as Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Hedaya Al-Yassin as Dean of the Technical College.
Appointment of Dr. Muhammad Al-Maaqaba as Acting Dean for Student Affairs.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Ayman Wahba as Dean of Scientific Research.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Hussam Al-Houri as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
Appointment of Dr. Luay Al-Nimr as Acting Dean of the King Abdullah II Faculty for Information Technology.
Second: The Council also decided to approve the recommendation of the University President to renew the appointment of each of:
Professor Dr. Ziad Al-Hawamdeh as Vice President for Administrative, Financial, and Digital Transformation Affairs.
Professor Dr. Samer Al-Dhaiyat as Dean of the Faculty of Business.
Professor Dr. Marwan Al-Jarrah as Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Third: The Vice Presidents and Deans, whose appointment period has not expired, will continue to perform their duties as follows:
Professor Dr. Ashraf Abu Karki as Vice President for Scientific Faculties Affairs.
Professor Dr. Saleh Al-Rawadiya as Vice President / President of the Aqaba Branch.
Professor Dr. Amira Al-Masri as Vice President for Quality and Local Accreditation Affairs.
Professor Dr. Bassem Malham as Dean of the Faculty of Law.
Professor Dr. Ismail Abu Ammo as Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology and Tourism.
Professor Dr. Munwar Al-Taraki as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
Professor Dr. Hedaya Al-Ghazawi as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.
Professor Dr. Laith Nasrawi as Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Professor Dr. Aida Al-Qawasmi as Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
Dr. Lara Khalifeh as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences.
Professor Dr. Jihad Al-Amri as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design.
Professor Dr. Muhammad Khair Ayyad as Dean of the Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II Faculty for Political Science and International Studies.
Fourth: As for the Aqaba Branch, the Council decided to approve the recommendation of the University President to make the following formations:
Appointment of Professor Dr. Omar Al-Jawabrah as Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management.
Appointment of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Al-Kalaldeh as Dean of the Faculty of Basic, Marine, and Nursing Sciences.
Appointment of Dr. Sufyan Al-Khawaleh as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Systems and Information Technology.
As for the Deans whose appointment period has not expired, they will continue to perform their duties as follows:
Professor Dr. Saddam Al-Wadi as Dean of the Faculty of Business.
Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Aomar as Dean of the Faculty of Languages.
Dr. Tawfiq Al-Majali as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law.
