One person died and 40 others were injured, on Tuesday, due to a bus deterioration and overturning on the side of the road in the Airport Road area of the Capital Governorate, according to the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate.
The spokesperson said in a press statement that the rescue and ambulance teams from the West Amman Civil Defense Directorate and the police dealt with the accident, which resulted in the death of one person due to severe injuries, and the injury of 40 others.
He added that the ambulance teams provided the necessary first aid to the injured, transported them to hospitals, while the deceased was evacuated, and the injuries are under treatment.
He pointed out that a traffic investigation was opened to determine the causes of the accident.
