Community Police in Tafilah discuss security partnership

The Community Police in the Tafilah Governorate Police Directorate held, today, a periodic meeting for the local council of the Busaira Security Center, within the framework of strengthening the participatory approach between security services, local community institutions, and popular and official events.

The meeting discussed ways to consolidate joint cooperation to prevent negative phenomena, and examined plans and programs aimed at consolidating the pillars of community security, and activating the role of local councils in conveying citizens' needs and enhancing security and preventive awareness in various areas of the Busaira District.

In the same context, the Community Police conducted a specialized awareness lecture targeting students of the Phosphate Primary School for Boys, which addressed the topic of "school bullying" and its negative impact on the educational and psychological environment of students.

The lecturers provided a detailed explanation of the concept of bullying, and its various forms, whether verbal, physical, or electronic, explaining its psychological and social repercussions on academic achievement and children's behaviors, and emphasizing the importance of the role of the school and the family in the early detection of such behaviors and ways to address them through dialogue and guidance.

These activities come within the continuous plans of the Public Security Directorate to enhance positive communication with the educational and community sector, and to build a conscious generation fortified against negatives, in a way that serves the interest of the nation and the safety of its children.
