The Public Security Directorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, has launched the "Junior Police" course in a number of schools across all governorates of the Kingdom. This is a continuation of the series of "Junior Police" courses that the Directorate has consistently launched as part of its efforts to enhance security awareness and instill positive behaviors in primary school students from an early age.
The course aims to intellectually fortify students through integrated awareness and training programs that contribute to enhancing their awareness and ability to properly deal with various daily issues and situations, in line with the Public Security's mission to spread security and community culture among the younger generations.
The course includes specialized awareness lectures on many important topics such as traffic safety, first aid, environmental awareness, the dangers of electronic games, and cyberbullying, in addition to discipline and order in foot drills, which contributes to consolidating concepts of safety, responsibility, and discipline among participating students.
The course program also included field visits to a number of Public Security units and Public Security museums in Azraq and Aqaba, with the aim of introducing them to the history of the Public Security apparatus and its national role in protecting people, safeguarding the nation's achievements, and maintaining security and stability.
This course comes within the efforts of the Public Security Directorate to consolidate the concept of community policing and build bridges of trust with future generations, contributing to preparing a generation capable of contributing to the service of their community and country.
