Civil Status Cancels Saturday Shifts in 6 Offices in the Capital

The Director General of the Civil Status and Passports Department, Ghaith Al-Tuyeb, has decided to suspend Saturday shifts in six offices affiliated with the Capital's Civil Status and Passports Directorate, pointing out that the decision comes in light of developments related to the volume of work and in line with its requirements.

Al-Tuyeb indicated that the concerned offices will return to providing their services according to the usual official working hours, explaining that the adoption of Saturday shifts during the past period came within the context of measures taken by the department during the summer season to enable citizens to complete their transactions easily and conveniently.

He pointed out that the department continues to work with an open-ended shift system until the completion of the last transaction submitted to it.

Al-Tuyeb affirmed the department's keenness to facilitate the completion of citizens' transactions, ensure the continuity of providing its services, and respond to work requirements, contributing to elevating the level of services provided to citizens.
