The Bab Amman Municipality has launched a tender for road rehabilitation, paving, and hot spot treatment with a total value of approximately 650 thousand dinars, in 3 phases, according to the Chairman of the Municipal Committee, Mu'ath Jarn.
Jarn said that the Municipality also launched a tender for the construction of retaining walls from Qabion at a value of 20 thousand dinars, in addition to two tenders for the installation of road kerbs worth a total of 59 thousand dinars.

Jarn explained that the Municipality has prepared a winter preparedness plan, which includes cleaning the wadi channels and rainwater drainage networks, constructing retaining walls, and installing kerbs on the sides of the roads, with the aim of reducing water accumulation and addressing points that may experience closures or damages during the winter season.
He pointed out the preparation of operations rooms to deal with any emergency, especially since the Amman-Jerash, Irbid, and Ajloun roads fall within the Municipality's boundaries, explaining that an evacuation center has been prepared in the Marsa area with a capacity of 10 beds when needed.
Jarn clarified that the Municipality conducts daily cleanliness campaigns to reduce the phenomenon of indiscriminate waste disposal, where between 13 and 15 tons of waste are removed daily.
