The Criminal Investigation Department arrested two individuals accused of stealing a group of wooden crates from the entrance of a warehouse belonging to one of the commercial complexes in one of the suburbs of Amman.
A security source said that a representative of the commercial complex filed a complaint about the incident and requested prosecution of the perpetrator of the theft crime. After investigation and inquiry, a pickup truck was seized, with two individuals inside, one of whom has a criminal record, most notably thefts. It was found that the rear number plate had been tampered with, and a group of stolen wooden crates were seized from the vehicle. Upon interrogation, they confessed to committing the theft.
