Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Friday that Tehran has presented Washington with a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to navigation within seven days.
Araqchi stated from the United Nations headquarters in New York, "Iran has conveyed to the United States via Qatar a concrete plan over seven days. If the necessary conditions are met, the Strait may be reopened and transit traffic may return to normal within seven days," noting, "The choice now lies with the United States. Iran does not accept oppression, threats, or intimidation and will not relinquish its sovereign rights under pressure."
