The Arab Lawyers Union condemned the criminal operation that targeted innocent people inside a church in the town of Hamoud in Karak Governorate, in the south of the Kingdom, affirming its rejection of all forms of violence, terrorism, and extremism.
The Union's Secretary-General, lawyer Ali Al-Dmour, said in a statement that this criminal act expresses hatred and malice, and constitutes a violation of the law and human values.
He added that these criminal acts will not undermine national unity in Jordan, nor the stance rejecting all forms of violence, terrorism, and extremism.
The Union extended its deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of the painful incident, praying to God to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
