Arab Bank provided its strategic sponsorship for the events of the Arab Regional Conference, organized by the Union of Arab Banks in cooperation with the Central Bank of Jordan, the Jordan Banks Association, and the Jordanian Businessmen Association under the title "Arab Economic and Banking Partnership towards Supporting Development and Investment in Syria", which is held under the patronage and attendance of the Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, His Excellency Dr. Adel Sharkas, and the attendance of His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, Mr. Muhammad Raslan, and His Excellency the Governor of the Palestinian Monetary Authority, Mr. Yahya Shanar, alongside a group of decision-makers, bankers, experts, investors, businessmen, and representatives of financial and banking institutions from Arab countries and the Syrian Arab Republic.
The conference is held within the framework of enhancing Arab economic and banking dialogue and cooperation with Syria, discussing ways to support development and investment, developing the banking sector, as well as exploring opportunities and challenges associated with attracting Arab and foreign investments, and the role of the private sector and financial and banking institutions in financing strategic projects, enhancing digital transformation and financial innovation, in addition to discussing investment opportunities and economic partnerships in a number of vital sectors.
The conference also discusses a number of topics related to Arab and foreign investments, enhancing banking relations and developing foreign trade services and financial transfers, supporting digital transformation and financial innovation and modern banking technology, as well as enhancing financial inclusion, developing human capabilities, and exchanging successful experiences and expertise between Arab financial and banking institutions.
