The head and members of the Aqaba Governorate Council committee condemned the armed attack that targeted a church in Karak Governorate, affirming that targeting houses of worship and innocent lives is an unacceptable crime that violates human and national values, and constitutes an assault on the security of society and the principles of brotherhood and coexistence.
They emphasized that national unity is a red line, and that the cohesion of Jordanians, both Muslims and Christians, forms a fundamental pillar of Jordan's strength and stability, and that any attempt to undermine this unity will shatter against the awareness of Jordanians and their rallying around their Hashemite leadership, state institutions, armed forces, and security services.
