Amman Municipality, this evening, will begin implementing traffic improvements on Istiqlal Street, within the segment between Istiqlal Mall and Istiqlal Hospital, as part of its plan to develop the road network, enhance traffic efficiency, and improve road safety.
The first phase of the works includes removing the central island and existing obstacles within the segment, which will help reorganize traffic flow, enhance vehicle fluidity, and improve road utilization efficiency.
The works will be carried out during the evening and night periods over the next three days, aiming to minimize their impact on traffic, especially during peak hours, and ensure their completion efficiently and quickly.
These works are part of Amman Municipality's ongoing efforts to address traffic congestion and improve road network efficiency, through the implementation of engineering and traffic solutions based on a study of traffic conditions and the needs of road users.
Amman Municipality urges users of Istiqlal Street to exercise caution and follow the instructions of the Municipality's staff during the implementation of the works, affirming that these measures aim to improve the level of traffic service and enhance traffic fluidity on the street.
