The researcher specializing in Quranic sciences, algorithms, and comparative religions, Dr. Muhammad Ubayd Allah, said that the Holy Quran contains a precise numerical system based on nines and sevens, pointing to the existence of rules and theories related to the system of letters and numbers in the Quranic text.
This was during the Amman Group's hosting of Future Dialogues for Dr. Ubayd Allah, in a symposium titled "Secrets of Letters and Numbers in the Holy Quran"
During the symposium, Ubayd Allah addressed several topics related to the system of letters and numbers in the Holy Quran, reviewing a set of rules and theories that dealt with the construction and arrangement of the Quranic text, and what he described as the accuracy and completeness of the numerical system in the Holy Quran.
He also reviewed a number of examples related to what he called the "law of nines and sevens" in the Holy Quran, explaining his views on the meanings of numbers and letters, and touching on aspects of what he described as the inimitability of the Holy Quran.
