Al-Tal: The new Fu'ara bus terminal location is only 50 meters away from the current one

The Land Transport Regulatory Commission, in direct cooperation and coordination with the Greater Irbid Municipality, has taken a decision to relocate the Fu'ara bus terminal back to its old site, ending a period of nearly seven years since a previous decision was made to reduce the area allocated for the terminal and move its operational location to an adjacent point near the historic Nabulsi House, a decision that was made at the time as part of organizational arrangements for the surrounding area.

The official spokesperson for the Greater Irbid Municipality, Ghaith Al-Tal, confirmed that the selection of the new and designated site for the Fu'ara bus terminal was based on a precise field study, explaining that the approved site is no more than 50 meters away from the current location, which maintains easy access for passengers and citizens without causing any disruption to daily commute movements or changing the geography that residents and drivers alike have become accustomed to.

Al-Tal indicated that the site slated for re-adoption originally served as the primary and approved stop for Fu'ara buses for many years, as it is characterized by its vital location at the intersection of Atiyah Bani Hani Street and Al-Khuloud Street, confirming that the relocation decision was taken by the Land Transport Regulatory Commission in full cooperation with the municipality to work on organizing traffic flow and providing better service for public transport lines operating in the area.
