Al-Kafara Municipality Warns Defaulters on Payment and Resorts to Legal Measures

The Al-Kafara Municipality has urged citizens in the Bani Kenana District to promptly settle their financial obligations owed to the municipality to avoid the necessary legal actions for collecting public funds in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The municipality clarified that the financial demands include land and building tax, known as construction ceilings, road paving and organization returns, fees, and various other financial dues accumulated in favor of the municipality.

The municipality set Tuesday, the 10th of November 2026, as the final date for settling these dues, calling on everyone to take advantage of the available period and settle their financial obligations to avoid the accumulation of additional amounts.

The municipality confirmed in its statement that the Legal Affairs Department and the municipality's lawyers have been entrusted with following up on the collection of overdue dues through judicial channels and regular courts, warning that defaulters will bear the additional fees, expenses, and legal interest incurred in accordance with the applicable laws.
