Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Youssef Hassan Al-Issawi, emphasized that the approach led by His Majesty King Abdullah II has established an ongoing national journey of building and modernization, based on the strength of state institutions, investing in the citizen, and enhancing their capacity for innovation, achievement, and participation in shaping the future.

During his meeting on Wednesday at the Royal Hashemite Court with a delegation from the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Jordan, Al-Issawi stated that His Majesty has made Jordan’s security and stability, the safeguarding of its sovereignty and supreme interests, and the improvement of citizens' lives fixed priorities in the state's journey, relying on a long-term vision and the ability to deal with challenges and turn them into opportunities for building and progress.

He added that the comprehensive Royal vision has been reflected in the tracks of political, economic, and administrative modernization, as well as in the focus on developing the education, health, and social protection sectors, stimulating investment, expanding economic opportunities, empowering youth and women, and promoting balanced development whose impacts reach various regions of the Kingdom.

He pointed out that the Jordanian citizen forms the core of the modernization project led by His Majesty, and that the success of development is measured by the positive change it brings about in citizens' lives, the opportunities it provides for future generations, and the fields of work, production, and innovation it opens up for youth.

Al-Issawi emphasized that His Majesty the King attaches special attention to youth, stemming from his belief that they are the nation's renewed energy, the basis of its progress, and the builders of its future, and that investing in their education, qualification, and empowerment to acquire modern knowledge and skills constitutes an investment in Jordan's strength and its ability to continue its journey with confidence.

At the regional and international levels, Al-Issawi affirmed that His Majesty the King is leading continuous political and diplomatic efforts to protect Jordan's interests, defend Arab causes—foremost among which is the Palestinian cause—and work to spare the region further conflicts by calling for dialogue, political solutions, and achieving a just and comprehensive peace.

He explained that His Majesty's stances stem from firm Jordanian constants based on protecting the nation's security, sovereignty, borders, and national interests, defending the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and rejecting attempts to displace them or liquidate their cause.

He pointed to the importance of the Hashemite Custodianship over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

Al-Issawi indicated that His Majesty the King's presence in international forums reflects Jordan's status and role in defending the values of justice and peace, noting that His Majesty's recent address to the United Nations General Assembly presented a clear vision for addressing the roots of crises and conflicts, and carried political and humanitarian messages affirming that true peace is achieved through justice, respect for rights, and human dignity.

He affirmed that His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, continues, within the framework of the Royal vision, his active role in supporting the journey of modernization and development, with a special focus on youth and enhancing their presence in various fields of national work.

He stated that His Royal Highness the Crown Prince believes in the capabilities and energies of Jordanian youth, and is keen through his continuous field communication with them to listen to their ideas and ambitions, and encourage them to pioneer, innovate, and acquire future skills, thereby enhancing their role in building a modern and productive economy.

He added that the interest of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince in youth reflects a firm belief that they are essential partners in the development process, and that what they possess of science, knowledge, and ambition represents an important national asset for Jordan's future.

Al-Issawi also praised the efforts of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in supporting and developing education, empowering women and youth, and sponsoring humanitarian and social initiatives, emphasizing that these efforts contribute to expanding learning and empowerment opportunities and enhancing the role of the family and women in community development.

Al-Issawi expressed his pride in the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, and the security agencies, and the sacrifices and efforts they provide to protect the security and stability of the homeland and safeguard its achievements.

For their part, the speakers affirmed that Jordanian youth draw inspiration from the vision of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince regarding their responsibility in building the nation and shaping its future, translating the Royal trust in their capabilities and energies into initiatives, actions, and achievements that contribute to serving the community and enhancing the journey of building and modernization.

They praised His Majesty the King's efforts, his continuous attention to Jordanian youth, and his belief in their ability to innovate, give, and shoulder responsibility, affirming that the Royal approach—which puts the Jordanian citizen at the forefront of priorities and makes investment in their capabilities the basis of development—serves as an incentive for youth to actively participate in building their homeland's future.

They expressed their pride in His Majesty the King's vision for comprehensive modernization, especially in the political modernization track, and the horizons it opens for youth to participate in public, partisan, and parliamentary life, and to enhance their presence in positions of responsibility and decision-making, affirming that this vision has entrenched their conviction that youth are partners in shaping the features of the future, not merely waiting for its opportunities.

They also commended the Crown Prince's interest in youth, his support for their ambitions and initiatives, and his motivation for them toward innovation, entrepreneurship, and productive work, affirming that His Royal Highness's vision strengthens their confidence in their capabilities and pushes them to move from the stage of thinking and planning to the fields of work and achievement, and contributing to the development of their communities and homeland.

They affirmed that pride in His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince is embodied in bearing responsibility, sincere work, and achievement, stressing that Jordanian youth possess the will, ambition, and competence that qualify them to be true partners in the modernization journey, and that they do not wait for the future to assume their responsibilities, but rather seek to participate in shaping it.

They reviewed their experience in student, voluntary, and academic guidance work, supporting incoming students, following up on the needs of their peers, and providing a supportive university environment that fosters the spirit of cooperation, initiative, and responsibility.

They affirmed that the nursing profession represents a humanitarian mission that goes beyond the limits of work inside hospitals, to include spreading health awareness, preventing diseases, and serving the most needy segments.

They pointed to the importance of voluntary work in building the character of youth and entrenching the values of solidarity and social responsibility, emphasizing that successful youth initiatives are not measured only by the size of available resources, but by their ability to create a positive and sustainable impact in the lives of others, and to turn simple ideas into actions that benefit society.

They stressed that Jordanian youth are not content with merely pitching ideas and aspirations, but possess the readiness to shoulder the responsibility of their implementation and outcomes, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation and communication with national institutions, and turning youth initiatives and ideas into concrete projects and works that contribute to achieving national priorities.
