Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Farayeh, participated in the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum, currently being held in Lianyungang, People's Republic of China.
The forum discusses issues of asylum, migration, combating transnational organized crime through modern technology, and enhancing international cooperation in the field of drug control.
Minister Al-Farayeh delivered a keynote speech in which he focused on Jordan's participation in peacekeeping forces, international police, and the deployment of field hospitals. He also reviewed Jordan's role in training police in the region and regional cooperation in combating drugs.
In a related context, Al-Farayeh pointed to the attractive investment environment in the Kingdom as a result of political and security stability and its important geographical location.
