Al-Faisaly team defeated its Omani counterpart, Al-Nahda, with a score of 2-0 in a match held this Wednesday evening at the Amman International Stadium, as part of the AFC Champions League 2 football competition, amidst a large crowd.
Professional player Ahwa Carlos opened the scoring for Al-Faisaly in the 30th minute, before Ahmed Al-Ersan added the second goal in the 76th minute, reinforcing his team's lead and securing the match result in their favor.
Both teams delivered a competitive performance throughout the two halves of the match, as Al-Nahda of Oman attempted to organize its ranks and look for opportunities to narrow the gap by moving into attacking areas and building attempts on Al-Faisaly's goal, but their efforts did not translate into goals.
On the other hand, Al-Faisaly sought to capitalize on available opportunities and strengthen its lead, while maintaining its defensive balance until the final whistle.
