8 Palestinians injured due to settler terrorism and Israeli attacks in the West Bank

8 Palestinians were injured, on Monday evening, due to settler terrorism and Israeli military attacks in various areas of the occupied West Bank, which included the burning of homes, barns, and the destruction of vehicles.

In Jerusalem Governorate, 3 Palestinians were injured following an attack by settlers on the J'ba Bedouin community near J'ba town, northeast of the city, according to a statement by the Jerusalem Governorate.

It added that the settlers assaulted Palestinians, including women and children, and destroyed vehicles, while settlers and Israeli forces set fire to several homes and barns, according to the statement.

Residents of the community appealed for an ambulance to transport one of the injured, according to the Governorate.

In Qalqilya Governorate, north of the West Bank, 4 Palestinians were injured by bruises due to an attack by settlers in Immatin village, east of the Governorate, according to the official Palestinian news agency "WAFA"

The agency said that settlers attacked Palestinians with sticks and stones while they were in their lands in the eastern area of the village, known as "Ard Al-Batin", resulting in the injury of 4 of them.

In Nablus Governorate, north of the West Bank, a 50-year-old Palestinian was injured by bruises due to being beaten by Israeli soldiers in Ausarin village, south of the Governorate, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

The Red Crescent said that its teams dealt with the injured person, while Israeli forces stormed the village and fired sound and gas bombs.

In Jenin Governorate, north of the West Bank, "WAFA" reported that settlers stole olive fruits from the lands of A'jja town, south of the Governorate.

The agency quoted local sources as saying that a group of settlers from the "Tersila" settlement stole olive fruits from the lands of the southern area of the town's plain surrounding the settlement, before breaking the branches of the trees.

The West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is witnessing an escalation in settler attacks and Israeli military attacks on Palestinians, coinciding with the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

About 750,000 settlers live in 156 settlements and 360 settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank, including the eastern part of occupied East Jerusalem, committing terrorist attacks with the aim of forcibly displacing Palestinians.

According to data from the Committee Against the Wall and Settlements, settlers have committed more than 14,742 attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since October 2023, resulting in the death of 66 Palestinians.

Since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war in the Gaza Strip in 2023, Israeli military attacks and settler terrorism against Palestinians and their properties in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have intensified.

The attacks include killing and arresting Palestinians, demolishing homes and facilities, burning mosques and vehicles, bulldozing agricultural lands, preventing farmers from accessing their lands, in addition to displacing Palestinians and settlement expansion.
