4 wounded and damage to 15 homes after interception of cruise missiles in Riyadh on Tuesday

Four people were injured and 15 homes were damaged in Riyadh on Tuesday evening after debris from two cruise missiles launched by the Houthis fell following their interception, the Civil Defense reported on Wednesday morning, as the Iran-backed Houthis continue to target Saudi Arabia on a daily basis for more than a week.

The Civil Defense stated on X: "On Tuesday, the Civil Defense in Riyadh dealt with the fall of debris from two cruise missiles after they were intercepted and destroyed, having been launched by the terrorist Houthi militia. This resulted in (4) injuries to two women, a man, and a child, and limited material damage to (15) residential homes." It attached photos of shattered window glass in a number of the homes.

Houthi attacks have reached an unprecedented scale in recent days, including several strikes on Riyadh airport, one of which resulted in the death of 13 people and the injury of hundreds of others on Saturday, in the most violent attack on Saudi territory in more than ten years.
