The Directorate of Youth in Karak and its affiliated youth centers participated in the activities of the 'Reading Marathon' program, organized by the Ministry of Youth in partnership with the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, coinciding with the National Reading Day, which falls on September 29 of each year.
The youth centers in various districts of the governorate witnessed wide participation from young men and women, through organizing individual and group reading sessions, discussions, and exchanging ideas and opinions about the most prominent contents and main ideas addressed in the books, in addition to implementing youth reading initiatives and activities, which contribute to establishing the habit of reading and developing knowledge, awareness, and critical thinking among young people, and encouraging them to benefit from the book as a source of knowledge and culture.
