Wide Arab condemnation of terrorist attacks on vital facilities in Saudi Arabia

Arab countries strongly condemned and denounced the two attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia, which targeted King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and the Shaybah oil field in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in the death of one Saudi citizen and three Asian residents, the injury of ten others, and material damage to the targeted facilities.

In this regard, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement on Thursday that these attacks are no longer isolated incidents, but rather represent a systematic terrorist campaign that has witnessed, in less than two weeks, four consecutive attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, and the Shaybah oil field, in a dangerous escalation that targets vital facilities and global energy security, and requires immediate international action that goes beyond verbal condemnation.

The Ministry reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all sovereign measures it takes to preserve its security, stability, and territorial integrity, affirming its inherent right to self-defense in accordance with Article (51) of the United Nations Charter.

It emphasized that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, expressing its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Kingdom, its leadership, government, and people, and to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
