White House: The United States will not attack Iran before the congressional elections

The White House announced on Thursday that the United States will not launch any attack on Iran before the midterm congressional elections scheduled for November 3.

This came in a statement made by Deputy White House Press Secretary Anna Kelly, in response to an inquiry from the American news platform "Drop Site News" regarding the possibility of the United States and Israel launching an attack on Iran in the near future.

Kelly said that "the United States will not attack Iran under any circumstances before the midterm elections," reiterating previous statements by US President Donald Trump.

Kelly did not comment on the possibility of Israel launching an attack on Iran.

Last week, Trump stated that the United States will not launch any attack on Iran before next November 3.
